Pyrotechnician by Solco Pyroelec is a new generation design software for trace heating applications that provides an outstanding design aid with performance via a very user-friendly interface.
Designers and Engineers can enter the conditions and parameters of a process directly or via a Microsoft Excel sheet format that makes it easy to enter multiple lines.
To help with the design the circuit of a trace heating line, a visually comfortable graphic is provided, and this makes the selection of connection kits and/or temperature control devices more convenient.
It has all the features needed such as
– site conditions and process conditions,which can be tailored for each pipeline
– heat loss calculations,
– automated heating cable selection of Solco Pyroelec models
– electrical load for each circuit
– selection of control and monitoring method
– calculated/determined temperature information
– automated generation of a design summary and a bill of material(BOM)
All reports can be issued in Microsoft Excel sheet format.

Typical Installation
SOLCO PYROELEC self-regulating cables are to be installed with genuine accessories / components being supplied by SOLCO PYROELEC representatives to guarantee optimum performance as well as to validate any extended warranty scheme.
To benefit from the SOLCO PYROELEC extended product warranty, the customer must complete and retain the installation, inspection or commissioning record(s) provided with the installation manual (see form ref. SPPM-0013A_v0 available to download under the warranty section).
A copy of the form should be sent to SOLCO PYROELEC within thirty(30) days from the installation.
