SP-PTK-M connection kit is designed to connect power to Solco Pyroelec heating cables.
The SP-PTK-M is designed for terminating all Solco Pyroelec heat tracing cables into a junction box or controller, while maintaining electrical insulation of the heating cable conductors and core. The silicone molded power boot within the SP-PTK-M kit does not require a heat gun or torch for insulating the heating core. It means the installer does not require a hot work permit anymore. Instead, the power boot is to be sealed from the external environment using a commercially available RTV silicone sealant, suitably rated for the application in hand.
