These instructions are to be met when installing Solco Pyroelec electrical heat tracing systems. The individuals installing these products are responsible for complying with all applicable safety and health guidelines. Proper personal protective equipment should be utilized during the installation. Contact Solco Pyroelec if you have any additional questions.
1. Electric heat tracing cables are used for freeze protection or temperature maintenance of piping, tanks and instrumentation. For more detailed installation on, please refer to technical department of Solco Pyroelec or visit website www.pyroelec.com
2. Heat tracing cables may be installed in ordinary (non-classified) and hazardous (classified) locations depending on the specific cable options and approvals.
This equipment has been found to comply with the Essential Health and Safety Requirements that relate to the design Category 2 equipment, which is indended to use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The Essential Health and Safety Requirements are given in Annex II to European Union Directive 2014/34/EU.
